Diversity and inclusion are crucial for building a strong and resilient community. To promote these values, it is essential to empower underrepresented groups.

In Liberia, girls & young women often face significant barriers to education and empowerment.

However, our community organization in Monrovia, Liberia, is dedicated to promoting community safety and empowering everyone and young women and girls, through our programs.

We recognize the importance of addressing community safety. Many young women and girls face significant safety concerns, including gender-based violence, which can hinder their ability to participate fully in their community. We can promote community safety and foster a more inclusive and equitable society by giving them the knowledge and tools they require to stay safe.

Our empowerment program is another critical component of our work toward promoting diversity and inclusion in community programs. Through it, children, youth, vulnerable women, and other marginalized groups are given access to education, leadership development, and other opportunities to help them advance the skills they need to thrive in their community.

Another crucial aspect of promoting diversity and inclusion is civil society, which CSI recognizes the importance of to promote social justice, democracy, and human rights.

Additionally, our commitment to promoting community safety in Liberia goes beyond just empowering. We recognize that community safety is a shared responsibility and that everyone must be involved in creating a safe environment. Therefore, we work with community members, leaders, and other stakeholders to identify safety concerns and develop solutions.
