One of our goals as the Community Safety Initiative (CSI) is to improve the lives of people through community organization in Monrovia, Liberia. We have more than a decade’s worth of experience in agriculture training, community development, disaster response, youth empowerment, and more.
Our capability to enact change in civil society at both a local and national level is what makes us such an effective organization. Our experienced team of program managers and project officers coupled with our passionate supporters and volunteers have been integral to our continued success over the years.
Most of our projects here at Community Safety Initiative (CSI) focus on serving impoverished and underrepresented minorities, such as the youth, women, and persons with disabilities. We seek to empower these people, so that they can reach their fullest potentials, gain access to the opportunities they deserve, and live their lives to the fullest.
One way we do this is by promoting community safety in Liberia. By helping develop communities and families that are mentally, physically, and financially safe and secure, persons will be able to focus on learning and improvement instead of fearing for their own safety or where their next meal will come from.
